Usvojen Zakon o elektronskom dokumentu
Skupština Srbije usvojila je danas Zakon o elektronskom dokumentu koji će omogućiti korišćenje elektronskih dokumenata u istom pravnom statusu i na isti način kao i dokumenta na papiru...

Zakonom je utvrđeno da je elektronski dokument punovažan, da ima dokaznu snagu i da se smatra originalom.
Zakon će dodatno regulisati elektronsko poslovanje koje će praksi biti izjednačeno sa klasičnim poslovanjem u kojem se koriste dokumenta u papiru.
Elektronski potpis po zakonu ima isti status kao i svojeručni, a zakonom je omogućeno da sva elektronska dokumenta potpisana elektronskim potpisom imaju isti status kao i papirna dokumenta potpisana svojeručno.
To će, kako je navedeno u obrazloženju, omogućiti doslednu primenu Zakona o elektronskom potpisu koji je usvojen 2004. godine.
